Hello
this is my first post here in this blog, so here I go. We are now in the airport waiting for our plane to arive. Thankfully th airport has internet connection, although I am worried about how much internet I will be able to get. My hope is to adopt a boy. I wonder how many books I will go through with my free time there. Well, I guess that's it, I don't have much else to say. I'll try to write soon.
Nick and Nancy are a Christian couple from Charlotte, NC. We have been married for 18 years and blessed with 2 great kids (Colin - 14 and Claire - 13).
But that's not enough. We decided there is room in our hearts and our home for more.
After lots of thought and prayer, we decided to adopt from Ukraine. We like the idea of choosing the child rather than having one chosen for us. We like that they are ok with middle-aged (mid-40s) parents. All the signs seemed to point to Ukraine.
Looking to adopt 1-2 children, aged 4-10. Boy or girl ok. Trying to keep our options broad.
