My first visit
I saw the first group of orphans today. They are very active. It was intresting. Something weird though, many children have a developmental delay. They act younger than other children from a family. We were expecting this but it was still intresting to see. They, two brothers, are really nice. We got to play games with them like Candyland, Redlight Greenlight, and Hide and Go Seek. This should be fun.

Your letters are very informative!! Keep it up, but then you write so well, anyway. Got a Christmas card from Mike & Stacy and the 3 cats. Shows them in the snow, Mike & Stacy are hiking along, the cats look very disgruntled in the snow. So you think these 2 boys will be the ones?? You sounded so positive. Love, Connie
Hmmm? Hide and GO seek? You have become what your lineage said. The Scotch-Irish, traveling south from Harrisburg PA along the wilderness trail to Carolina,Tennessee are the only ones who call the game "Hide and Go Seek." My travels convinced me that the rest of the world calls it simply "Hide and Seek." But that's OK. I'm glad to see it.
Heritage is very important. Dr. Ephram Brevard, hero of early Charlotte-town, was your great smetheing Uncle and guardian of your great x 6 grandmother. I'm researching that with the idea of a historic play about these ancestors of ours. The Brevards and Alexanders are your ancestors both ways being also related to your mother and grandmother.
Nick and Nancy are a Christian couple from Charlotte, NC. We have been married for 18 years and blessed with 2 great kids (Colin - 14 and Claire - 13).
But that's not enough. We decided there is room in our hearts and our home for more.
After lots of thought and prayer, we decided to adopt from Ukraine. We like the idea of choosing the child rather than having one chosen for us. We like that they are ok with middle-aged (mid-40s) parents. All the signs seemed to point to Ukraine.
Looking to adopt 1-2 children, aged 4-10. Boy or girl ok. Trying to keep our options broad.
